The Golden State Warriors and Steve Kerr have actually consented to a two-year, $35 million agreement to keep him in the Bay Area through the 2025-26 season, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski
The offer will make him the highest-paid coach in NBA history.
The news comes as little surprise after Wojnarowski reported on Dec. 10 that the Warriors had actually talked about an extension for Kerr, who was at first under agreement through the 2023-24 project.
There was at least some speculation about Kerr’s future in Golden State after president and basic supervisor Bob Myers stepped down from his position on May 30.
Considered that unpredictability, Friday’s news had fans commemorating Kerr’s extension.

Often I provide Steve Kerr a tough time on his rotations however he’s one of my preferred individuals in the NBA and an excellent coach. He won 4 champions. Those are the sort of coaches you extend.

If Steph Curry desires Steve Kerr, then Warriors fans need to desire Steve Kerr.
