A year after Campbell and Jules Gounon defended the win in the Bathurst 12 Hour, they did it once again in 2024– through this time the factory Porsche chauffeur had the much better of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 pilot.
In spite of going off-strategy mid-race and 2 drive-through charges, Manthey EMA’s Campbell and co-drivers Vanthoor and Bathurst novice Guven remained in contention no matter what conditions the track and the sky tossed at them. When a Safety Car triggered a 30-minute dash to the flag, Campbell gapped the field to take his and Porsche’s 2nd Bathurst win.

After a dry very first half, 4 hours of rain challenged the chauffeurs before slick tires came back for the last dash to the flag.
“This is amazing, it was a difficult day,” stated Campbell, who won the race in 2019.
“Hats off to everybody, we were not constantly performing at the front. It wasn’t simple in combined conditions. It’s sensational! It was a little bit of danger management as well, there was rather a bit of water off-line. We arrived in the end.”
