The Dallas Cowboys are apparently getting the fifth-year choice on Micah Parsons’ novice agreement and categorizing him as a protective end instead of a linebacker, per Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning Newsan offer that will conserve the group a little under $3 million.
Per that report, “as a linebacker, Parsons would make a little bit more than $24 million in 2025, the last season of his novice agreement. As a protective end, his 2025 income will be $21.32 million.”
Parsons will be under agreement for the 2024 season on a $2.9 million base pay and $2.4 million finalizing bonus offer before his fifth-year alternative starts for the 2025 project.
