The Pittsburgh Steelers require to generate a pass receiver for quarterback Russell Wilson ahead of the 2024 project after trading Diontae Johnson to the Carolina Panthers, and ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. has an option.
In his newest 2024 NFL mock draft, Kiper has the Steelers preparing LSU pass receiver Brian Thomas Jr. with the No. 20 total choice.
“Thomas, who ran a 4.33-second 40-yard dash at the integrate, has an incredible mix of speed and size (6-foot-3). He captured 17 goal passes last season, leading the FBS,” Kiper composed. “Pittsburgh had simply 13 overall goal passes in 2023. Thomas and George Pickens might form an interesting pass-catching duo.”
